Instant Pot Beef Short Ribs


  • 2 1/2 Lbs Boneless Beef Short Ribs
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 6 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Coconut Aminos
  • 2 Bay Leaves


  1. Season your short ribs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Set the Instant Pot to Saute on High. Add oil to the Instant Pot and allow to heat up until hot.
  3. In two batches, add the short ribs to the Instant Pot in a single layer. Sear each side until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Add the minced garlic to empty Instant Pot and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the broth and coconut aminos to the Instant Pot. Use a wooden spoon to loosen any beef or garlic from the bottom of the pot.
  6. Place the short ribs back into the pot. Add the bay leaves to the pot. Close the lid and seal.
  7. Cook on high pressure for 40 minutes. When completed, use natural release for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove bay leaves and enjoy!
